This versatile metal punch is made of hardened steel to drive a nail past the surface of wood, or to set a mark into metal or leather. Setting metal before drilling will prevent the bit from traveling.
Nail Set Punches can also be used to remove broken nails, staples, or pins from salvaged wood.
Tool Tips
Use a ball-peen hammer to tap the end of the punch whenever possible, as the hammer head is hardened for striking against heavy duty metal punches.
